I decided to spend a month in Germany, where my daughter is studying abroad. I made a firm promise to myself to continue tuning in to the original broadcast of “입트영” even while I was in Germany. So, I made sure not to forget the “입트영” monthly magazine when I packed for my trip.
“입트영” airs at 11:40 PM German time. Starting the day after I arrived, I continued my routine of listening to the broadcast. Since I arrived in the middle of the month, I couldn’t bring the following month’s study material with me. But my youngest daughter, who was in Korea, took pictures of the content and sent them to me, one week at a time.
Before the broadcast, I wrote out all the content in the book by hand and studied it thoroughly, And after the broadcast, I finished my day recording my own recitation. I was amazed and grateful that I could keep up with the broadcasts even while I was abroad.

나는 딸이 유학 중인 독일에서 한 달 살기를 하기로 했다. 독일에 있는 동안에도 ‘입트영’ 본방사수를 스스로 마음먹었다. 그래서 짐을 꾸릴 때 “입트영” 월간지를 잊지 않고 챙겼다.
‘입트영’은 독일 시간으로 오후 11시 40분에 방송된다. 도착한 다음 날부터 나는 본방사수 루틴을 이어갔다. 월 중순에 도착했기 때문에 다음 달 교재를 챙겨오지 못했다. 하지만 한국에 있는 막내딸이 교재 내용을 일주일치씩 사진찍어 보내줬다.
방송 전에는 책에 있는 모든 내용을 손으로 써서 꼼꼼히 익혔고, 방송 후에는 낭독을 녹음하며 하루를 마무리했다. 해외에 있는 동안에도 본방사수를 할 수 있다는 것이 신기하면서 감사했다.
