If I think about it, I am grateful to my mom for so many things. I especially appreciate that she is very dedicated to helping us learn English. Every night at bedtime, my mom reads English storybooks to my younger sibling and me.
Mom reads the books so vividly that sometimes it feels like I am inside the story.
I don’t get much time with mom during the day, so I always look forward to this time at night when she reads to me. My mom is the best!
My mom has always been a hard worker, but I think reciting English out loud has inspired her to put in even more effort. I hope we can continue to study English together.

생각해 보면 엄마에게 고마운 게 참 많다. 그중에서도 특히 우리가 영어를 배울 수 있도록 헌신적으로 도와주셔서 정말 감사하다. 매일 밤 잠들기 전에 엄마는 나와 동생에게 영어 동화책을 읽어주신다. 엄마가 책을 너무 생생하게 읽어주셔서 어떨 때는 내가 책 속에 들어가 있는 것 같다.
낮에는 엄마와 함께할 시간이 많지 않아서 엄마가 책을 읽어주는 밤 시간이 항상 기다려진다. 우리 엄마 최고!
엄마는 항상 열심히 사는 분인데, 영어 낭독을 통해 더 열심히 노력하게 된 것 같다. 앞으로도 계속 함께 영어 공부를 할 수 있으면 좋겠다.

B: I’m sure you’ll be even better if you put in the effort.
