Reality TV Programs

Most entertainment shows on TV these days seem to be real-life reality programs. I especially enjoy dating shows featuring various men and women. On one program, eight young men and women move in together for a month. They get to know each other and form relationships. The scenes of real people feeling and responding to various emotions seem all the more real because there is no script.

With dating programs featuring ordinary young men and women taking off, next came a program about flirtatious back and forth between dancers. Various other blind date programs soon followed suit.

Recently, there was a program about divorced people building relationships. The participants have a painful shared experience of divorce, and the program shows how they find love as they share their feelings and encourage each other.
