Libraries these days offer a variety of high-quality programs for people of all ages. There are book start programs for the little ones, knitting classes for moms, and social media classes for senior citizens.
I participate in two book clubs for office workers. In one of them, everyone reads the same book and gathers over Zoom at the end of the month to exchange thoughts about it. In the other book club, we write down memorable passages from a book we select together, and share them on an online message board. At the end of the month, we have a get-together to discuss how we felt about the book.
The best part about the book clubs in that they motivate me to keep reading. It's also a lot of fun to hear different points of view through other people's takes on each book.

나는 직장인들을 위한 두 개의 독서모임에 참여하고 있다. 하나는 모두가 동일한 책을 읽고 월말에 줌으로 만나 책에 관한 생각을 나누는 모임이다. 다른 하나는 함께 고른 책에서 인상적 문구를 필사해 온라인 카페에 공유하는 모임이다. 월말에는 책에 관해서 느낀 점을 이야기하는 모임도 갖는다.
독서 모임을 하면서 가장 좋은 점은 책을 꾸준히 읽게 된다는 점이다. 그리고 각 책에 관한 다른 사람들의 소감 등을 통해 다양한 견해를 듣는 것도 너무 재미있다.
